The table and crew
The craps table can accommodate
up to about 20 players, who each get a turn at "shooting"
the dice. Several types of bets can be made on the
table action. The casino crew consist of a stickman,
boxman and two dealers.
Dice combinations
Casino craps is played with two
dice. This chart shows the possibilities for bettors
betting the "pass line" on the "come
out" roll. Throwing a 7 or 11 immediately wins;
a 2, 3 or 12 immediately loses. Any other number rolled
is a "point number," and the player continues
to throw until that number is rolled again (the player
wins). If a 7 is rolled before the "point number,"
the shooter loses and the dice pass to the next player.
